Querying GA4 event parameters in BigQuery in an easier and cleaner way

When we send events to Google Analytics 4, they will come along with certain parameters, some standard that Google provides and recommends, and others that we include in our data collection to give more contextual information to the captured action.

Each row in the GA4 Bigquery export (representing one event), contains the event_params record, that once is unnested it reveals the different parameters key and value pairs available under the event.
